The National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization that recognizes outstanding achievements by high school students across the country. The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) recognizes similar achievements by middle school students. Students in the NHS and NJHS are expected to display excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Requirements to apply are:
Be in grades 8 through 12
Be a student enrolled in Davis Connect
Have at least a 3.0 accumulative grade point average
MESA combines the resources of school,. industry and other partners to provide students experiences in STEM fields. All students are welcome to join MESA for opportunities to participate in STEM activities such as: Star Parties, Chemistry Nights, Adventures with a Scientist, and fieldtrips. Students also compete in Physics Day at Lagoon and the SeaPerch Underwater Robotics Competition.
